Councils & Committees
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners who pray, reflect, and dialogue in order to help the Pastor in his role of governing and leading the parish. Members of the Pastoral Council are appointed by the Pastor, serve for 3-year terms and meet with the Pastor at various times during the year, per his request.
Finance Council
The Finance Council's role is to advise the Pastor on financial matters and administration of parish property, assist in the preparation of the general parish budget, provide necessary annual reports, review the parish financial, personnel, and administrative operations, review the care and maintenance of the parish property and buildings, develop long range planning for operational and capital needs. Finance Council members serve on a long-term basis (may serve consecutive three-year terms), and are appointed by the Pastor.
Buildings & Grounds Committee
A sub-committee of the Finance Council, this committee has the responsibility to oversee and make recommendations regarding the maintenance of all parish grounds and buildings, and to relate those needs to the Finance Council.
Education Endowment Committee
A sub-committee of the Finance Council, the Education Endowment Committee guides the pastor on how to administer the funds of the St. Patrick Parish Education Endowment Fund. This foundation provides financial assistance to support educational programs within our parish. Committee members serve 3-year terms and are appointed by the Pastor.
School Board of Directors
The St. Patrick School Board of Directors is a policy and advisory body which guides the educational programs at St. Patrick School. This body operates under the regulations that proceed from the Bishop and the Diocesan Board of Education, and the approval of the Pastor. Members are appointed by the Pastor, and serve 3-year terms.
