Let's begin with prayer in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:

Jesus, you have said, "I am the way and the truth and the life" (John 14:6). We ask you for the strength to follow you, the wisdom to know you, and the grace to live the life you wish to share with us. We want to know you. Open our hearts and minds to all that you want to show us about yourself in our time studying you today.

Watch the lesson 5 videos and answer the follow up questions on page 37.

Pretend you are sitting with someone who knows nothing about Jesus. Explain why God became human and came into the world.

Read about St. Teresa of Avila on page 40. She may be a heavenly helper you're glad to know!
